The Cadogan Smoking Jacket falls open to a deep V between wide notched lapels, its full sleeves gathered into deep, rigid turned-back cuffs. Cut in embossed satin, it sets a liquid sheen against matte corded panels at the lapels, the cuffs and the bands of two hip pockets. A self-tie belt defines the waist, while the short hem allows it to be worn either as a jacket or alone as a dress.

The Cadogan Smoking Jacket takes its name from the historic London street, and its shape from the 1880s, when Victorian gentlemen would slip a short, easy jacket over their evening clothes before retiring to the smoking room. Annie drew on the grand, contrasting textures of that tailoring to create a piece that feels at once powerful and refined, carrying the gothic elegance and quiet decadence of Victorian London.
