Drawing its name from Charles Dickens’ Mercy Pecksniff, whose narrative arc transforms from playful lightness into grounded, enduring strength, the Mercy Corset brings heavy structural definition to winter tailoring. Designed to evoke the quiet beauty and gothic romance of a London winter. Inspired from the intricate detailing found in nineteenth-century outerwear, Annie created this piece to bring warmth, texture, and dramatic structure to evening wear.

Built on a plush black velvet base, the Mercy Corset uses traditional back ribbon lacing to cinch the waist, while structural peplum hip pads build a defined hourglass shape. It's finished with hand-applied micro glass beadwork, set directly against the rich velvet ground, paying homage to the jet jewellery and dark opulence made famous during Queen Victoria's reign.
