Sultry, sculpted, and designed with an unexpected twist, Double Take is a two-piece statement set combining rich velvet with sheer ruched mesh for a look that plays with texture, transparency, and shape.
The top is crafted in plush black velvet and designed with an off-the-shoulder neckline that wraps across the arms and gathers into a twisted center front. The cropped silhouette leaves the midriff completely exposed, creating a dramatic contrast against the floor-length skirt.
The skirt is where Double Take gets its name. At first glance, the high-cut velvet portion may appear to be a separate underwear piece worn beneath the sheer skirt — it is not. The velvet brief-inspired section is built directly into and attached to the skirt as part of the complete design. Nothing shown underneath needs to be purchased or worn separately.
The floor-length skirt combines sheer black mesh with strategically placed velvet panels. The translucent mesh is heavily ruched throughout the hips, thighs, front, and back, creating beautiful texture while hugging the body. At the waist, high-cut openings frame the hips before meeting the integrated velvet center section.
A long velvet panel extends vertically down the center front of the skirt, contrasting against the sheer mesh and visually elongating the silhouette. The back mirrors the same dramatic construction, with the attached high-cut velvet section sitting above ruched sheer mesh and a center gathered seam running down the length of the skirt.
