LARGE ADJUSTABLE IMAGE AND VERSATILITY: Largest, more stable image (compared to traditional camera lucidas) up to 20 x 37" drawing from life and 16 x 24” when enlarging a photo. Two optical filters give you 4+ brightness levels, so you can get an optimal image in any situation. Use your LUCY pro while sitting or standing.
PHOTO ENLARGER AND BAG: Includes the Photo Enlarger, which allows you to enlarge photos, pictures or small objects using your LUCY flex up to a 4x magnification. LUCY mini vs. LUCY flex vs. LUCY pro

You may be asking: “Besides the cost, what’s the difference between the three LUCY models?”

The biggest difference is image size.

The LUCY mini reflects an image up to 12×18 inches.

The LUCY flex gives you a larger 19×27 inch image.

The LUCY pro offers the largest image at 20×37 inches.

If you’re using the Photo Enlarger accessory to draw from photos, the enlargement size also scales up:

LUCY mini: up to 10×16 inches from a 4×6 photo

LUCY flex: up to 12×18 inches

LUCY pro: up to 16×24 inches

There are also differences in materials and build:

The LUCY mini has a durable polycarbonate head, a steel flex arm, and a sturdy plastic clamp.

The LUCY flex upgrades to a fiberglass-infused polycarbonate head and a solid aluminum clamp.

The LUCY pro is built from lightweight aluminum alloy with a reinforced mechanical arm and cross-support for maximum stability.

Most people choose the LUCY flex because it offers the best balance of size, stability, and flexibility—it can be used sitting, standing, or even at an easel. The LUCY mini is a great option if you’re just getting started or don’t need a large image. But if you want the very best, or you need the largest and most stable setup, the LUCY pro is the way to go.
