Yes. For the crib size you can use a couple of packages of 5" precut squares in place of the 1/8 yards for the four-patch blocks.
What's the difference between the King and Alternate King?
Both finish at 120" x 120". The Alternate King adds an outside border, so it uses less feature fabric and smaller cuts for the four patches, plus 2 3/4 yards of border fabric.
