What size quilt will this make?
There's no set finished size. This is a block tutorial, so you choose how many trees to make and how to arrange them. Every quilt ends up totally unique!
How much fabric do I need? Is it fat quarter or precut friendly?
Yes! You'll get about 4 tree blocks from each fat quarter or regular 1/4 yard. For example, 20 trees would take about 5 fat quarters, but the bigger the variety of fabrics, the more interesting the quilt.
It also works great with 10" precuts (Layer Cakes), but you may need to make your finished blocks slightly smaller.
