A clumping cat litter made from natural bentonite clay, with zeolite and activated carbon worked through it and a light lavender scent. Clumps form within seconds and lift out whole, so you remove the waste and leave the rest of the tray fresh. Supplied as two 10L bags.

Key features

• Light lavender scent
• Bentonite, zeolite and activated carbon work together to trap and lock in odour rather than masking it
• Clumps within about three seconds and does not stick to the bottom of the tray
• Highly absorbent, so clumps stay intact when you scoop
• Low dust formula, 99% dust-free — gentler on your cat's airways and yours
• Non-toxic natural clay, gentle on paws — supplied as 2 × 10L bags

Which litter should I choose?

• Lavender (this litter) — lightly scented, also available in 10L
• Maximum Odour Control — unscented, in 5L, 10L and 20L
• Low Dust Bentonite — unscented, our value-priced option in 10L and 20L

Some cats are put off by scented litter, particularly if they are already fussy about their tray. If yours is sensitive, start with one of the unscented options.

How much will I need?

Fill the tray to a depth of about 7cm. An average litter tray takes roughly 5L, so 20L fills one tray four times. Buying the larger size works out cheaper per litre.

How to use

Scoop out the clumps daily and dispose of them with your household refuse. Do not flush litter down the toilet. Add fresh litter to replace what you remove, and the remaining litter stays usable.

Safety

As with all cat litters, pregnant women and anyone who is immunosuppressed should avoid contact with soiled litter because of the risk of toxoplasmosis.
