These kitchen scissors are made by Kurichu Seisakusho, a small factory in Sanjo City, Japan - a region known for its metalwork. They have been specialising in scissors since 1979.  

Each pair is hot-forged from stainless steel, giving them a solid weight, incredibly sharp edge and real durability. They’ll handle everything from herbs to hard shells with ease.

Final assembly takes serious skill - blades are adjusted by hand until they cut cleanly with just the right tension. It's this kind of care that makes a tool feel right in your hand, and last for years.
