The Savery Collection is a series of English watercolors found in an early 19^th c. sketchbook, dated 1803 by British artist, John Savery. These small landscape jewels depict English country settings with common diversions of the time: fishing, shooting, hiking, and sailing. The detailed, yet simplistic, style of the artist is charmingly used to reveal local culture and architecture.
