About This Piece

This color-changing Pixiu tea pet brings an interactive detail to your tea table, shifting color when exposed to hot water at 45°C (113°F) or above. Inspired by the traditional Chinese Pixiu, a mythical creature associated with wealth, good fortune, and prosperity, the design adds cultural symbolism to the tea setting. The higher the water temperature, the longer the color-changing effect lasts. As the tea pet cools, its original color gradually returns, allowing the transformation to be enjoyed repeatedly during tea sessions.
