I built this bracelet around the quiet magic of rutilated crystal — stones that look like they've trapped lightning inside glass.

Each bead is a translucent quartz sphere threaded with golden rutile needles, ranging from nearly clear to warm honey-gold depending on the light. Some read icy and ethereal; others glow amber. No two are the same, and that variation is exactly what drew me to them. Each bead is secured to the band with a silver rivet — a tiny anchor point that lets each stone sit proud and catch the light from every angle.

The band itself is oxidized sterling silver, hammer-textured and formed into a locking hinge bangle. The hinge mechanism opens cleanly and closes with a satisfying click — no fumbling with clasps. The dark oxidized surface makes the pale, luminous beads pop in a way that a bright silver finish never could.
