Inspired by the early-eighties runner, the PULSE is made by hand and to order, in suede and off-white textile, on a cushioned midsole and gum outsole. Two runs of tatreez sit on the shoe, one along the outer flank and a second across the toe overlay.

Name

Pulse is the one style in the collection not named for a place or a person. The name is for movement, and for the wearer who walks.

Panel

The women of Masafer Yatta and Tawani embroider two pieces for each pair, a side panel that the workshop sets on the outer flank and a second run across the toe overlay. The only sneaker in the collection with tatreez in two places.

Material

Suede with off-white textile, a memory-foam insole, padded tongue and collar. A cushioned, slightly stacked midsole on a gum rubber outsole.
