Rubber Bee Isopods for Sale (Cubaris sp.)
Rubber Ducky in the front, party in the back.
Rubber Bees look like the famous Rubber Ducky up front, then fade to a beautiful white on the back end. We've also noticed these passive pods are more active than the Rubber Duckies, so you'll actually catch them out and about.
Origin: Thailand.
HPI Preferred Habitat Targets: 72–78°F; supporting relative humidity around 70–80%; maintain a reliable damp zone with the far side slightly drier while keeping the overall substrate humid and aerated. Use moderate ventilation—enough to maintain a moisture gradient without turning the enclosure into a strong cross-draft. Recommended substrate depth 3-4"+.
Diet: As with most isopod species, their main diet should be lots of leaf litter, decaying wood and a calcium supply. Supplement with organic fresh veggies & protein.
Reproduction: Moderate
Perfect For: Ducky fans who want a little more action, humid bioactive enclosures, and display terrariums.
Ordering: Priced per isopod, with a minimum of 3 per species. Starting a new colony? We recommend 6–20 (see How Many Isopods Should I Get?). Bulk discounts apply automatically.
