Nibble

An important note about Nibble: We are nearly down to the end of our current batch of this yarn. And it will take us some time to have a new batch milled as we are waiting for the sheep to grow new wool. (Thank you, sheep!) So now's your chance to grab this beautiful, earth-conscious yarn while we can still dye it for you!

~~~
Nibble is a rustic-spun, feel-good yarn!
Made with a blend of Targhee, Rambouillet, and Merino, this fingering weight, 2-ply yarn is next-to-skin soft. Grown in Santa Barbara, California by Cuyama Lamb, the sheep graze alongside California's golden hills to mitigate wildfires.
Listen to the episode on our Reverberate Podcast, and hear Jenya, the co-founder of Cuyama, describe their work and how it feels to have people knit yarn using wool grown by Cuyama sheep. If you love wool, sheep, and stories of incredible people working to help the planet, then this yarn is for you.
Please note that Nibble has a rustic twist, akin to hand-spinning. This means you can expect to find small sections that may have a little less twist and even a small piece of grass. We think of these nuances as special characteristics of this small batch yarn!
Lighthouse is undyed and is a great option for those of you who would like to natural dye your own palette!
All other colorways are naturally-dyed in our Oakland studio.
Milled in Wyoming.
