One of Sweden's most beloved children's authors and illustrators is Elsa Beskow. In Ollie's Ski Trip, six-year-old Ollie is given his first pair of real skis, and sets off for adventure. He meets Jack Frost and learns how he has to repair the damage of Mrs. Thaw who melts the snow. But, best of all, he meets King Winter and gets to play in the snow with the children of his castle!
