Now for the meet-cute couple backstory.

Some stories begin with spark. Theirs began with trash talk.

They met at a puzzle-finishing competition, seated side by side and immediately convinced that the other was their greatest enemy. They spent the entire event talking smack, challenging each other, and refusing to let the other get the upper wing.

And then, in the most irritating possible outcome, they both finished their puzzles at exactly the same time.

Neither won, so naturally they blamed each other.

He insisted he could beat her at Monopoly. She countered she could destroy him at Scrabble. They spent their entire first date arguing over which game to play to settle the matter and never actually picked one.

So they had a second date. 

Then another. And another.

For months, every date brought a new challenge, a new argument, and a new reason to spend just a little more time together. Somewhere between the competitive bickering and increasingly elaborate attempts to prove who was the better player, they realized they weren't enemies anymore.

They were in love. 

Now they settle nesthold chores with Paper, Rock, Wing, and their idea of a romantic night out usually involves an escape room. 

Separately, of course, because nothing says true love quite like racing to see who can escape first.
