Front: “Hakuna Matata” · “Life is a wonderful thing”
Back: “Live more · Worry less”
Hakuna matata is Swahili for no worries, an everyday phrase in East Africa that means don't stress, it will be fine. The front adds a reminder that is easy to forget on a bad day: life is a wonderful thing.
The back gives the instruction in four words: live more, worry less. Most of what we worry about never happens, and the time spent on it is gone either way.
The front spells HAKUNA MATATA in bold letters under a spiral sun, with an acacia tree, elephants and other African animals around the edge. The back shows a monkey sitting cross legged in meditation among jungle leaves, perfectly unbothered, with live more and worry less around the rim.
It is the lightest coin we make, in spirit if not in weight. Keep it for traffic jams, long queues and inboxes. Customers often mention the detail and the solid weight; one friend who received it loved it.
Give it to the friend who worries too much, a coworker heading on vacation, someone back from a safari, or a teen in exam season. It makes people smile, which is half the point.
What does hakuna matata mean?
“No worries” in Swahili, the language spoken across East Africa.
What is a fun no worries gift?
Something small that makes them smile and slow down. This coin carries hakuna matata on the front and live more, worry less on the back.
Is it a good gift for someone stressed at work?
Yes. It is a gentle reminder to take things lighter, without a lecture.
Care: keep it dry and wipe it with a soft cloth. No polishing needed; the aged finish is part of the look.
