There's no straight edge to start from, because the puzzle follows the outline of the house, gumdrop roofline and all. This gingerbread house jigsaw puzzle has 87 chipboard pieces and finishes at 10" x 10", with icing-trimmed windows, candy cane posts, and a wreath on the red door. A poster of the artwork comes in the tube, so nobody has to keep checking the lid to see where the peppermint goes. The tube is 3.375" x 3.375" x 6.125", small enough to drop into a stocking or a Christmas Eve box. At 87 pieces it's a one-sitting Christmas puzzle, about right for an afternoon with cocoa on the table.
