Cognac, primifiore lemon, tonka bean, oak. 

Finding the perfect leather candle scent each year has been a fun challenge, and I believe this one nails it. I've mixed primifiore lemon, dried pear, and fruits with rum, cognac, and styrex resinoid for a richer, deeper aroma. Last year featured mostly cognac, vanilla, and tonka bean, but this candle adds a fresh layer of coziness to any space. 

It reminds me of my favourite bar (now closed) called Cloak Bar, in downtown Toronto. You first needed a password, then you'd call the number on the door with the password, and you'd be escorted down what seemed to be a dark, unfinished basement and then come into a beautiful, dimly lit spacious bar. I remember sitting in the booth many times, and the leather was just so comfortable and bulbous. Drinks were always great and I enjoyed the truffle fries and chicken wings along with it. This candle embodies that experience - hopefully you have a favourite speakeasy or bar - where drinks flow easily and conversations are even smoother.
