Here in Kentucky, the Derby isn’t just an event—it’s a cherished tradition we celebrate with pride and excitement. The phrase “Win, Place, Show” captures the heart of race day, which is why it inspired the design of this basket pattern. Featuring distinctive horseshoe-style handles and a touch of country twang, this basket brings Southern charm to any setting. Whether you're weaving it for Derby festivities or displaying it year-round, “Win, Place, Show” is a wonderful project for weavers of all skill levels, from beginners to advanced basket makers, who love the spirit, style, and timeless appeal of horse racing.
