You’re A Peach German Iris brings warm, refined color to the late-spring garden without adding fussy care to your routine. This tall bearded iris grows 32–34" tall, with large ruffled peach-pink blooms and a bright medium-orange beard that gives each flower a clear, cheerful focal point.

Add warm color that works with your garden

The soft peach-pink color is easy to place in sunny beds and borders. It pairs well with purple alliums, salvia, catmint, baptisia, cream perennials and warm-toned roses, giving you plenty of ways to build a coordinated late-spring display. Its midseason bloom time places it in the main tall bearded iris season, when spring borders are filling in and ready for standout color.

Choose a new iris with noted parentage

Registered in 2026, You’re A Peach is a new selection from hybridizer Christian Bedard. Its parentage includes ‘Beverly Sills’, a highly regarded tall bearded iris known for strong pink color, form and garden performance. For gardeners who enjoy newer varieties, You’re A Peach offers a fresh peach tone with a respected breeding background.

Plant where browsing is a concern

Deer and rabbits tend to avoid bearded irises, making this a smart choice for sunny gardens where browsing can be frustrating. Use it in cottage gardens, mixed perennial borders, iris beds or foundation plantings where you want showy late-spring bloom without choosing plants that are especially tempting to wildlife.

Enjoy more color with simple care

Give You’re A Peach full sun and well-drained soil. Once established, it is drought tolerant and needs only low to average water. Plant the rhizome shallowly, with the top at or just above the soil surface, and divide clumps every few years when flowering slows. A slight fragrance adds a pleasant close-up detail during bloom.
