This is the piece that began it: the Throne Verse, Ayatul Kursi, cast in flowing Arabic script — "اللَّهُ لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ الْحَيُّ الْقَيُّومُ..." One of the most recited verses in the Qur'an, worn as a personal shield rather than a decoration.
