A toucan is silhouetted against a glowing sunset in this bold, colour-saturated piece, its beak and body rendered in flat, confident shapes. Katariina Kosunen builds her animal illustrations around strong colour and generous negative space, letting the sunset's gradient carry as much of the composition as the bird itself. The vintage-toned palette, all warm oranges and deep plums, gives the piece a retro travel-poster feel, while the toucan's simplified form keeps the focus graphic rather than realistic. It is a striking, sunset-lit take on tropical wildlife with a confident sense of colour.

As a canvas print, the sunset gradient gains extra warmth and texture, deepening the colour into a rich, atmospheric piece that suits a living room or study wall, with the toucan's silhouette staying bold even from across the room.
