Installation
Must be installed by a licensed electrician. The controller mounts near the garage door opener and plugs into a power point; relay wires connect to the opener's push-button (wall switch) terminals and the magnetic sensor fits to the door. Connect to a 2.4 GHz WiFi network during setup, then add the controller to Apple Home.
Compatible with most openers that accept a standard push-button wall switch, including many Merlin, Chamberlain, B&D, ATA, Grifco and Gliderol models. Openers using Security+ 2.0 (yellow or purple learn button) may need a compatibility adapter. Not compatible with Ryobi openers. Not sure? Contact us with your opener model and we'll confirm.
