The work reflects on the contrast between digital and physical connection. While the internet allows us to connect instantly from anywhere, planes carry us there in person - across borders, oceans and continents. Airplane Mode is a reminder that sometimes disconnecting from the digital world is the best way to reconnect with the world around us.
