Bring genuine history and natural character into your home with a reclaimed wood floating shelf handcrafted from authentic reclaimed wood. Each shelf is individually selected and reworked to preserve the unique characteristics that make real reclaimed wood unlike newly manufactured or mass-produced shelving.
Our reclaimed wood wall shelves come from wood with a history spanning generations and are repurposed to become a functional part of your home for years to come. Natural variations such as saw marks, knots, nail holes, checking, weathering, color variation, and other signs of age may be present and are part of what gives each shelf its authentic reclaimed character.
No two reclaimed wood floating shelves are exactly alike. Product photos represent the overall style and character you can expect, but the grain, coloration, texture, markings, and distressing of your individual shelf will naturally vary.
(1) Reclaimed Wood Floating Shelf — 2" H x 8" D x your choice of width
(1) Heavy-Duty Steel Floating Shelf Bracket — Each heavy-duty floating shelf bracket is constructed from 3/16" steel and designed for concealed support of floating shelves
Shelf routed to completely conceal the mounting hardware
Mounting holes pre-drilled for easier installation
Each floating wood shelf is professionally routed so the steel mounting bracket is concealed inside the shelf once installed, creating a clean, modern floating appearance without visible shelf supports.
Simply mount the included heavy-duty steel bracket level and securely into two wall studs, then slide the reclaimed wood shelf onto the bracket. The concealed mounting system provides a professional finished appearance while allowing the reclaimed wood to remain the focal point.
Because we use authentic reclaimed wood, natural color and appearance will vary from shelf to shelf. The application of oil, stain, lacquer, or other finishes can also dramatically change the appearance and bring out colors that may not be obvious in unfinished wood.
For example, some reclaimed pine may develop rich brown tones when oiled, while other pieces may reveal warmer red or amber coloring. Reclaimed yellow pine often develops reddish or golden tones, while reclaimed white pine frequently takes on warmer brown shades. These are general characteristics rather than guarantees.
The final appearance of each shelf is influenced by several factors, including the wood species, age, previous environment, weather exposure, original use, and overall condition of the reclaimed material.
These variations aren't defects—they are part of the history and character that make genuine reclaimed wood shelves unique.
When properly installed into wall studs using the included heavy-duty floating bracket, approximate weight capacities are:
24" shelves: 50-75 lbs
30"–42" shelves: 50–75 lbs
48"–66" shelves: 50–75 lbs
72"–84" shelves: 75–90 lbs
Actual capacity may vary depending on wall construction, stud condition, installation method, shelf dimensions, and how weight is distributed across the shelf.
Whether used as a fireplace accent shelf, kitchen floating shelf, bathroom shelf, bedroom shelf, living room display shelf, or rustic wall shelf, each piece combines the history and character of reclaimed wood with a clean floating design.
Instead of manufacturing something new to look old, we start with real reclaimed wood that earned its character naturally over generations—then rework it for a new life in your home.
