In Ayurveda, preparing the body for pregnancy is understood as its own stage - not simply a matter of timing, but of building the conditions in which new life can most easily take root. The Fertility Steam's 19-herb formula reflects this: it shares some foundational herbs with the Balancing Steam but adds a specific fertility-support layer.
Ashoka (Saraca asoca) is one of Ayurveda's most respected herbs for uterine health and reproductive vitality. Tribulus flower supports reproductive hormone balance. Vidari root is deeply Vata-nourishing, traditionally used to build reproductive tissue. Cramp bark supports uterine tone and muscle relaxation. Comfrey leaf supports tissue healing and regeneration. Holy Basil (Tulsi Rama) balances cortisol, builds immunity, and is uplifting to the heart and mind - the nervous system care that is part of fertility preparation but often overlooked. Egyptian Chamomile supports mental clarity and a balanced stress response. Shatavari, mugwort, raspberry leaf, motherwort, white peony, white sage, dandelion, red rose, calendula, sarsaparilla, witch hazel, and oregano round out the formula.
