MOON Incense Holder • noneedformore

A solid stainless steel incense holder designed by Alina in Wiesbaden. Heavy, mirror-polished, made to sit quietly on your shelf for decades.

Where the design came from
"Without the iron in the earth's core, the moon would drift away. There wouldn't be enough gravity to hold it. The MOON came from that thought. A small, heavy object made of the same material, designed to sit quietly and hold our space when everything else might seem in turmoil."
Alina

The material
Iron is the last element a star creates before it collapses. It sits at the core of the moon and the core of the earth. The MOON is made of the same material, polished through nine stages until the steel holds a perfect reflection.

How to use it
Two pieces: a large mirror-polished plate and a small round holder. Slide the small holder across the plate to catch the ash of any incense stick length. Palo Santo, resin, and other loose incense sit directly on the plate. A small recess on the back also holds sticks.

Living with it
Small scratches will appear over time. Try to love them and let them go. Use the felt coaster underneath and clean with a soft microfibre cloth.
