Print shops and custom gift businesses reach for the ORCA Christmas Ball Ornament in the Noel design when a customer wants lettering built into the ornament itself, so their photo or name sits beside a ready made holiday greeting. It is a round ceramic ball sold 144 per case.
Unlike a flat disc, the ball hangs like a traditional bauble and has more presence on a tree, which supports a higher retail price. The print area is defined rather than wrapping the whole sphere, so confirm it on your first piece before designing a batch, and test your press method since curved ceramic needs more than a flat cycle.
Personalized photo ornaments list for about $10 to $21 on Etsy, so for example, at $13 each one case of 144 Noel balls returns $1,872 against $398.88 in blanks. See our photo ornament ideas guide.
