Question 1

What is the case quantity and weight for the mid size?

Accepted Answer

28 towels at roughly 15 pounds.

Question 2

Why is 50 by 100 cm the size online sellers pick?

Accepted Answer

It is big enough to dry off with and small enough to post without a dimensional weight surcharge. The beach size starts costing real money to ship, which is where margin goes.

Question 3

How do I handle a towel wider than my platen?

Accepted Answer

Either two overlapping passes with the seam falling in a plain area, or keep the artwork inside one platen footprint and leave the rest blank. The second is what most shops settle on and it looks intentional.

Question 4

Where does the print belong on a bath towel?

Accepted Answer

Centred on one half, so it shows folded in thirds over a rail or draped on a bench. Keep it off the hemmed ends where pile thickness changes and pressure drops.

Question 5

A team wants to supply their own blanks. What do I tell them?

Accepted Answer

That sublimation bonds to polymer and not to cotton fibre, so supplied cotton towels fade immediately and keep fading. Teams raise this most often because someone found cheaper blanks online.

Question 6

How should a season of team towels be washed?

Accepted Answer

Cold or warm, low heat dry, no bleach, no fabric softener. A team towel is laundered hard for a whole season, so include a care card if you want the print to look right at the banquet.

Question 7

Which accounts reorder this size?

Accepted Answer

Gyms, pools and swim clubs, sports teams and schools, hotels and vacation rentals on a linen cycle, and spas. These are accounts rather than one off buyers. Water bottle blanks for gyms and sports teams

Question 8

If I only stock one towel size, which is it?

Accepted Answer

This one. It covers team, gym, hotel and general gift orders, it posts at a normal parcel rate, and a case of 28 is close to a roster or a small staff.

Question 9

When do team towel orders land?

Accepted Answer

End of season, which means May and June for spring sports and November for fall sports. Banquet dates drive the deadline more than any gifting calendar does.

Question 10

Which warehouse will it come from?

Accepted Answer

Most orders ship within 24 hours. We have warehouses in Fremont, CA and Kentucky, so your order ships from whichever location gets it to you fastest.

Question 11

What temperature and time should I press the Sublimation Bath Towel - White, 50 x 100 cm at?

Accepted Answer

As a recommended starting point, most of our blanks press between 370°F and 400°F, with time depending on how thick and dense the blank is. These are recommended settings only, not fixed rules. Temperature and time work against each other: a hotter press needs less time and a cooler one needs more. Every heat press runs a little differently, so press one test piece and adjust for your machine. Our sublimation time and temperature chart lists settings for 20 blank types.

Question 12

How much can I make selling custom 50 x 100 cm bath towels?

Accepted Answer

For example, at 2.5 times a $7.00 total cost, a team towel sells for $17.50 and leaves about $10.50, and it posts at standard parcel rates so shipping does not eat the margin.

Question 13

Is the 50 x 100 cm sublimation towel a good product for online sellers?

Accepted Answer

Yes. It is big enough to dry off with and small enough to mail without a dimensional weight surcharge, which is why online sellers and team accounts favor it.

Question 14

Where is the best place to buy mid-size sublimation towels wholesale?

Accepted Answer

Photo USA sells 28 white towels for $156.80, about $5.60 each, one case minimum, with most orders shipped within 24 hours from Fremont, CA or Kentucky.

Question 15
