A good George III oak chest of drawers, the rectangular moulded top above two short drawers over three long graduated drawers, each fitted with ornate pierced brass handles and matching back plates. Raised on shaped bracket feet, the piece retains a rich, warm patination throughout, with the honest wear and colour associated with age. A practical and handsome chest, well suited to a bedroom or hallway setting.
