Encased in an elegant paulownia wood box, this gift set presents a luxurious journey into the refined Japanese art of incense blending and "listening to incense" called Monkō. Inspired by Kobai - an ancient Heian-period (794 - 1185 CE) practice of infusing kimonos with fragrance - this trio of premium natural incense woods and botanicals creates a sophisticated, layered aroma reminiscent of Japan's noble past.

This special set is designed to bring out the exquisite scent of sandalwood to its fullest. By blending sandalwood with cinnamon bark, their natural sweetness merges, creating a spicy depth in the fragrance. When combined with camphor, the sandalwood's sweetness is enhanced with a refreshing, crisp coolness that gently caresses the nose. Enjoy the refined, harmonious scents alone or together: Burned together, these scents create a deeply evocative, serene atmosphere that elevates any space with luxurious warmth and tranquility.

Designed to be as thin as possible to release a delicate and pure scent, this incense allows you to experience the scent of each ingredient. Please handle with care as the incense can break easily.
