The 2019 Specialized Epic Comp EVO is a full-suspension XC and trail bike that adds a more capable, confidence-inspiring edge to the efficient Epic platform. Its 29-inch wheels carry momentum well through rough sections, while the EVO-oriented setup and modern trail geometry give the bike more stability and control when the trail gets steep, loose, or technical. The suspension is tuned to balance efficient pedaling with useful traction and composure over roots and rocks, making it a strong fit for riders who want to ride aggressively without moving to a heavier trail bike. The Epic Comp EVO works well for fast cross-country loops, technical singletrack, and longer rides where climbing efficiency still matters but descending capability is a priority.
