• Lay your knitted piece flat on a clean surface   
• Gently stretch the fabric with one hand and comb with the other
• Concentrate on areas that get the most friction: underarms, elbows, sides
• Clear any collected fibres from the comb as you go for easy disposal
• Repeat whenever bobbles appear
