This Gaiwan from the "Granite Edge" series by our artist Ji Shang is crafted from a natural clay body with gentle speckles, and the inside is finished with an earthy, wood-ash crackle glaze. The inside glaze melts into delicate opening lines, giving each piece its own quiet landscape. The darker outside surface features a calm, stony texture with subtle grooves.

What I love most is its balance; simple, steady, and grounding, settling naturally into any scene.
