The Core CFS ELXR front wing has been developed for uncompromising wave foiling, where the wave energy takes centre stage. Efficient glide, effortless pumping, and a dynamic, surf-oriented riding feel define its character.

The ELXR efficiently converts wave energy into forward drive, even without active propulsion. Its powerful profile generates early lift at low speeds, maintains speed and energy through turns, and lets you connect waves with ease.

Wave-optimized profile - Powerful lift at low speeds for maximum use of wave energy
Efficient pumping - High pumping efficiency to connect waves — even in weaker conditions.
High manoeuverability - Greater freedom in pitch and roll for dynamic turns and surf-oriented riding.
Stable flow under ventilation - High resistance to ventilation ensures controlled flow, even when tips briefly breach the surface.
Consistent DNA across all sizes - Same character in every size — selection based on conditions and rider weight, not discipline

The ELXR front wing is available in a wide range of sizes, all delivering the same handling characteristics.

Unlike Spectrum and Vert, size selection is based on rider weight, wave size, and conditions— not on a specific discipline.

Shape and Performance Concept:

The ELXR is built around its profile rather than its aspect ratio.

Its mid-aspect ratio (approx. 8.0 - 8.8) strikes the ideal balance between glide, agility, and control. Reduced pitch stability supports a freer, more active riding style and more efficient pumping, prioritizing dynamics over high-speed stability.

The ELXR wings are built from a multi-layer carbon laminate that balances low weight with exceptional durability.

Each size is individually engineered, resulting in visible differences in shape — all optimized for maximum performance.

Depending on the size, the ELXR front wing is manufactured with different core constructions: 650, 750, 1250 feature a wood core, while 850, 950, and 1050 use an epoxy core. Both constructions deliver the same riding characteristics.

Type	SURFACE	SPAN	ASPECT RATIO	WAVES	WIND
650	650cm²	72cm	8	Chest-high to Overhead / Medium-steep wave	Strong wind
750	750cm²	78.5cm	8.2	Waist-high to Overhead / Medium-steep wave	Moderate to strong wind
850	850cm²	86.5cm	8.8	Knee-high to Chest-high / Flat to medium-steep wave	Light to strong wind
950	950cm²	91.5cm	8.8	Knee-high to Waist-high / Flat to medium-steep wave	Light to moderate wind
1050	1050cm²	96cm	8.8	Knee-high to Waist-high / Flat to medium-steep wave	Light wind
1250	1250cm²	100cm	8.0	Knee-high to Waist-high / Flat to medium-steep wave	very light to light wind

For riders weighing 85kg and above, we recommend choosing one size larger to achieve comparable performance.
