The Vancouver Island Table

Crafted by Bradley D. Camp | Owner of Istockhomes

A bold statement of West Coast craftsmanship, The Vancouver Island Table is a one-of-a-kind, solid wood masterpiece that captures the natural beauty and character of British Columbia.

At its heart is a meticulously carved map of Vancouver Island, etched directly into the tabletop — a tribute to the land, the coastlines, and the communities that define it. This engraving is sealed under a crystal-clear epoxy resin, giving the map a timeless, almost topographic presence beneath your fingertips.

Built from solid Douglas Fir and laminated hardwood, the table is framed with live-edge transparency and anchored by a matte black base made of charred timber — inspired by the Japanese shou sugi ban technique — giving it both a rustic and modern finish. This table is not only visually striking, it is heavy, sturdy, and built to last for generations.

Whether placed in a home, office, or gallery, The Vancouver Island Table invites conversation, connection, and a sense of place. Perfect for real estate offices, hospitality spaces, or collectors of art and geography.
