The dome is designed to work with compatible cooking surfaces, including the Rectangular Pizza Stone and cast iron griddle identified by the manufacturer. It adds a lid over the cooking surface while the grill supplies the heat.

The manufacturer lists Baron, Crown, and Crown Pellet as exact-fit series and also describes compatibility with full-size Broil King grills. Cooking surfaces are separate accessories.
