Since 1989, Modernica has handcrafted its fiberglass furniture in Los Angeles using the original techniques developed in the mid-twentieth century. Constructed from layers of fiberglass combined with pigmented resin, each piece produces natural variations in fiber pattern, pigmentation, and translucency that make every design one of a kind — finished with a fine china-inspired aesthetic that reimagines Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle, and Pikachu in delicate, porcelain-like detail. Each piece carries its own individuality and distinctive material expression, reflecting the care and skill involved in its creation. Meticulously crafted by skilled artisans, this collaboration between Pokémon, 100 Thieves, and Modernica combines strength and durability, resulting in pieces that are reliable, enduring, and visually captivating. Every detail, from smooth contours to subtle tonal shifts, is the product of precise hand craftsmanship, creating a collection that is inherently unique and produced in extremely limited units.
