Celestial Blue, a quieter shade of Guatemalan jade

This square-edge bangle is made from Type A, natural untreated Guatemalan jadeite jade. Its Celestial Blue color, often called “water blue jade,” is one of the most underrated shades of Guatemalan jade. The stone has limited translucency and no cracks, with natural patterns that give each bangle its own look.

From Guatemala to the carving workshop

Guatemala is a source of jadeite with a varied palette of naturally occurring colors, including the subtle water-blue tones known as Celestial Blue. Artisans at one of our partner workshops in Mexico carved this Guatemalan stone into a square-edge bangle, letting its individual markings remain part of the finished piece.
