Celestial Blue, an understated jade color

This solid square-edge bangle is made of Type A, natural untreated Guatemalan jadeite jade. Its Celestial Blue color, often referred to as “water blue jade,” is one of the most underrated colors in Guatemalan jade. The stone has limited translucency and no cracks, and its natural pattern gives this bangle its own character.

From Guatemalan jade to Mexican artisans

Guatemala is a source of jadeite with a broad range of naturally occurring colors, including the subtle blue tones of Celestial Blue. Artisans at one of our partner workshops in Mexico carved this Guatemalan stone into a polished square-edge bangle, bringing out its individual markings.
