The Closer's wraparound design provides side coverage, while slip-resistant temple tips help keep the frame in place during movement. The frame traces its design roots to Method Seven's Patriot aviation eyewear, but this configuration is made for time on the ground, not a flight helmet.

Trail 26 polycarbonate lenses use deep notch filtering to bring out contrast in roots, rocks, dirt, and other details underfoot. Partial polarization reduces reflected glare without the heavy polarization that can make uneven terrain harder to read. With 26% visible light transmission (VLT), the lenses are designed for bright ridgelines and tree-covered sections alike. Existing Method Seven lens copy also lists UV filtering, anti-reflective, and hydrophobic coatings.
